Monday, October 16 - DAY 1 - DEPART - We depart St. Louis to connect with our overnight flight with dinner arriving the next day. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft. Tuesday, October 17 - DAY 2 - PARIS/LISBON/FATIMA - We arrive in Paris and transfer to our flight to Lisbon Airport, where we are met and given a short orientation tour of Lisbon before the drive to Fatima. If possible, we celebrate Mass at the Church of the famous Eucharistic Miracle at Santerem.  Balance of the day at leisure.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. In the evening, we join the International Rosary Procession.  Wednesday, October 18 ??? St. Luke - DAY 3 - FATIMA - This full day is devoted to visiting the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima and the birthplaces of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia to whom the Virgin appeared for the first time on May 13th, 1917.  In the evening, we once again join the International Rosary Procession.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Thursday, October 19 - DAY 4 ??? FATIMA/VALLADOLID - This morning, following Mass at the Shrine, we depart Fatima.  We travel through the Spanish countryside and arrive in the thriving city of Valladolid for dinner and overnight at our hotel. Friday, October 20 - DAY 5 ??? VALLADOLID/BURGOS/ LOURDES ??? This morning, following Mass in Valladolid, we depart for ancient Burgos, once the capital of Spain and the home of the famous El Cid.  On arrival we visit the beautiful Gothic Cathedral, the third largest in Spain after Seville and Toledo. Following our visit, we continue northeastward along the Basque coast and cross the border into France.  In late afternoon, we arrive in Lourdes for dinner and overnight at our hotel. In the evening, we join the Torchlight Marian Procession.  Saturday, October 21 - DAY 6 - LOURDES ??? This day is spent in devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes. We celebrate Mass at the Grotto with a morning orientation visit to the Shrine and a walking tour of Lourdes, visiting Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born, the Cachot, formerly used as a jail, where she lived during the apparitions, and the parish church.  This afternoon is free for private devotions, Eucharistic Procession, the Blessing of the Sick or the legendary, healing waters of the miraculous Lourdes spring.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel.  In the evening, we join the Rosary and candlelight procession.  Sunday, October 22 - DAY 7 - LOURDES/ROME/ASSISI ??? Following Mass at the Shrine (time permitting); we depart Lourdes for Pau, where we board a short flight to Paris and continue to Rome where we are met by our Rome Tour Manager.  We drive through Umbria to the hilltop village of Assisi, the home of Saint Francis. Our first stop is in the lower town for a visit to the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, and the Portiuncula, Francis' Church of the Little Portion. Continue to the upper village for dinner and overnight at our hotel. Monday, October 23 - Day 8 ??? ASSISI/ROME - This morning, we celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Francesco. After our visit of the Basilica, we begin our walking tour of the village. Included, is a visit to the Church of St. Clare to view the crucifix that spoke to St. Francis. We pass by the famous Temple of Minerva in the Piazza del Commune. This afternoon, we can enjoy this picturesque hillside village on our own. Later today, we depart Assisi and drive to Rome where we arrive for dinner and overnight at our hotel. Tuesday, October 24 - Day 9 - ROME - This morning, we go to Vatican City where we celebrate Mass below St. Peters. Afterwards, we see the treasures of the Vatican Museum.  We marvel at Michelangelo???s restored frescoes in the Sistine Chapel and the wonders of St. Peter???s.  This afternoon, we tour Rome???s sites; we start with a visit to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, then we pass by the Roman Forum, the Arch of Constantine, the Coliseum, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We visit the Church of St. Peter in Chains to view Michelangelo's possibly most celebrated sculpture, the "Moses."  We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Wednesday, October 25 - Day 10 - ROME ??? This morning we make our way to St. Peter's for an audience with Pope Francis if he is in residence. This afternoon, we visit the Holy Stairs and Basilica of St. John Lateran.  We continue to St. Paul Outside the Walls. This huge, imposing Basilica, second only to St. Peter???s and one of the largest churches in the Christian world, contains an unusual gallery of papal portraits: 265 tablets portraying the popes of the past. We visit of the Catacombs, burial place of early Christians.  We view the 2nd and 3rd century fresco paintings. We celebrate our closing Mass at the Basilica of St. Sebastian.  We celebrate our farewell dinner at Restaurant Cecila Matella.  Overnight at our hotel. Thursday, October 26 - DAY 11 ??? ROME/USA - This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to the U.S. arriving the same day.
