Tuesday, July 11 - St. Benedict - Day 1 - DEPART USA - We depart our home airport to connect with our overnight flight with dinner arriving in Paris the next day. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft. Wednesday, July 12 - DAY 2 - LISBON/FATIMA - We arrive in Lisbon and transfer to our flight to Lisbon Airport, where we are met and given a short orientation tour of Lisbon before the drive to Fatima. If possible, we celebrate Mass at the Church of the famous Eucharistic Miracle at Santerem. Balance of the day at leisure.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. In the evening, we join the International Rosary Procession.   Thursday, July 13 - DAY 3 - FATIMA - This full day is devoted to visiting the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima and the birthplaces of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia to whom the Virgin appeared for the first time on May 13th, 1917.  In the evening, we once again join the International Rosary Procession.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Friday, July 14 - DAY 4 ??? FATIMA/SALAMANCA/ VALLADOLID - This morning, following Mass at the Shrine, we depart Fatima.  We travel through the Spanish countryside and arrive in Salamanca a UNESCO World Heritage Site It is one of the most important university cities in Spain and we will enjoy a brief orientation tour as we continue to the thriving city of Valladolid for dinner and overnight at our hotel.  Saturday, July 15 - DAY 5 ??? VALLADOLID/BURGOS/ LOURDES ??? This morning, following Mass in Valladolid, we depart for ancient Burgos, once the capital of Spain and the home of the famous El Cid.  On arrival we visit the beautiful Gothic Cathedral, the third largest in Spain after Seville and Toledo. Following our visit we continue northeastward along the Basque coast and cross the border into France.  In late afternoon, we arrive in Lourdes for dinner and overnight at our hotel. In the evening, we join the Torchlight Marian Procession.   Sunday, July 16 - DAY 6 - LOURDES - This day is spent in devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes.  We celebrate Mass at the Grotto, with a morning orientation visit to the Shrine and a walking tour of Lourdes, visiting Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born, the Cachot, formerly used as a jail, where she lived during the apparitions, and the parish church.  This afternoon is free for private devotions, Eucharistic Procession, the Blessing of the Sick or the legendary, healing waters of the miraculous Lourdes spring...  Dinner and overnight at our hotel.  In the evening, we can once again join the Torchlight Marian Procession.   Monday, July 17 - DAY 7 ??? LOURDES/ROME??? Early this morning we depart Lourdes and fly to Rome via Paris. On arrival, we are met and tour some of Rome???s sites, passing the Roman Fora, the Arch of Constantine, the Coliseum and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We conclude our day at one of the Catacombs, burial place of early Christians.  Time permitting, we celebrate Mass here and view the 2nd and 3rd century fresco paintings.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Tuesday, July 18 - DAY 8 ??? VATICAN CITY/ROME - Following morning Mass at St. Peter's, we spend this morning seeing the treasures of the Vatican Museum.  We marvel at Michelangelo's restored frescoes in the Sistine Chapel.  Continue to St. Peter's Basilica to view the ???Pieta???. After lunch on our own we visit two of Rome???s major basilicas, St. John Lateran and St. Mary Major.    Then we continue to St. Peter in Chains to view Michelangelo's possibly most celebrated sculpture, the "Moses". Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Wednesday, July 19 - DAY 9 - ROME ??? This morning, we return to St. Peter's for an audience with the Holy Father if he is in residence.  This afternoon we visit St. Paul???s Beyond the Walls. This huge, imposing Basilica, second only to St. Peter???s and one of the largest churches in the Christian world, contains an unusual gallery of papal portraits: 265 tablets portraying the popes of the past.  Remainder of day is free for personal adventure, shopping, etc. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Thursday, July 20 - Day 10 ??? ROME/CASCIA/ MONTESILVANO ??? This morning we depart Rome and drive north to Cascia.  Here we find the incorruptible body of St. Rita of Cascia, one of the Church???s most dynamic saints. Rita was a mother, widow, nun, mystic and stigmatist.  Cascia is also the site of a 14th century Eucharistic Miracle.  We celebrate Mass here. After our visit, we continue to the east coast of Italy town of Montesilvano for dinner and overnight at our hotel. Friday, July 21 - DAY 11 - LANCIANO/SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO - This morning we visit and pray at Lanciano, the site of the oldest Eucharistic Miracle certified by the Church.  After almost eight centuries the Body and the Blood still maintain all the characteristics of fresh human material.  We continue south to San Giovanni Rotondo where we celebrate Mass at the tomb of Saint Padre Pio and visit the sanctuary.  We transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Saturday, July 22 - Mary Magdalene - DAY 9 - SAN GIOVANNI/SUBIACO/ROME ??? This morning we visit the nearby Cave of St. Michael the Archangel where the Saint often prayed and heard confessions.  Afterwards, we return to Rome for dinner and overnight. Sunday, July 23- DAY 13 - RETURN - We transfer to the airport for our flight home with unforgettable memories to cherish always.
