Wednesday, June 13 - Day 1 ??? DEPART USA ??? Today we depart Orlando to connect with our overnight flight aboard a wide-bodied jet. We will be served complimentary beverages, in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft. Thursday, June 14 - Day 2 - TEL AVIV/TIBERIAS - We arrive at Ben Gurion Airport Tel Aviv where we are met.  We drive north to Caesarea along the Mediterranean and visit the Roman and Crusader remains.  We continue to Mt. Carmel, where we visit the site of Elijah's confrontation with the priests of Baal. We will celebrate Mass here before we continue to Tiberias and our hotel on the shores of the Galilee for dinner and overnight. Friday, June 15 - Sacred Heart - Day 3 ???TIBERIAS. This morning, we drive to Nazareth visiting the Church of the Annunciation, where the Word became Flesh! We celebrate Mass here and spend time in private prayer. Following lunch on our own, we visit the village of Cana, the site of Jesus' first miracle, where our married couples renew their wedding vows.  We return to our hotel dinner and overnight.   Saturday, June 16 - Day 4 - TIBERIAS - By boat, we cross the Sea of Galilee and view the surrounding mountains and sites of Jesus' bountiful ministry.  On the opposite side, we first visit Capernaum, where we see the remains of the village synagogue and the new church built atop St. Peter's house. We drive along the Sea to Tabgha and see the Benedictine Basilica of the Loaves and Fishes and then to the Franciscan Church of St. Peter's Primacy, where Jesus made His appearance after the resurrection. We celebrate Mass here at the outdoor altar. Following lunch on our own we drive to the Mount of Beatitudes, where we have time for a rosary and personal meditation in the beautiful gardens. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Sunday, June 17 - Day 5 - TIBERIAS/JERUSALEM - This morning, we start at the Jordan River where we have the opportunity to renew our Baptismal Promises and spend time in prayer/contemplation.  Afterwards, we drive to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, where we will celebrate the Mass of Transfiguration.  We continue south through the Jordan Valley where we drive by Jericho and view the Mount of Temptation (no stop).  Lunch on our own. We make our thrilling entry into Jerusalem and stop at Knesset and Hebrew University to get a panoramic view of the Old City.  We visit the Shrine of the Book to view the Dead Sea Scrolls and visit the Model City of Jerusalem in Jesus time.  We continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Monday, June 18 - Day 6 - JERUSALEM - Today we drive to Bethlehem, The House of Bread, to visit the Church of the Nativity that commemorates the birth of Christ.  We visit the Manger, Crusader's Cloister, the Milk Grotto and the Grotto of St. Jerome, where we celebrate the Christmas Mass.  We continue to Shepherd???s Field before returning to Jerusalem for lunch on our own. We visit the Orthodox ???Monastery of the Cross??? originally erected by the Crusaders and spend the rest of the afternoon for personal adventure, shopping, rest or prayer.  We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.   Tuesday, June 19 - Day 7 - JERUSALEM - This morning after visiting the place of the Ascension and praying the Our Father at the Church of the Pater Noster, we view the beautiful City of Jerusalem from Mt. of Olives.  We then walk down the hill to Dominus Flevit Chapel, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem and on to the Garden of Gethsemane, The Church of All Nations where we have time for personal prayer followed by Mass at the nearby grotto or outdoor gardens.  Afterwards, we drive along the Kidron Valley stopping at St. Peter in Gallicantu (The Cock Crows), where Jesus was held in the house of the High Priest Caiaphas. We next go to Mt. Zion to visit the tomb of King David, the Church of Dormition and pray in the Upper Room.  We enter the Old City through Zion Gate where we spend a few moments in prayer at the location of the martyrdom of St. Stephen, where we first are introduced to Saul, making our way to the Western (Wailing) Wall.  We also see the Cardo and the remains of Nehemiah's wall. Finally, those who wish can visit the excavations below the temple mount and the museum here. Those not participating in the tunnel tour and outside excavations will be free for rest, personal adventure or shopping in the old city. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Wednesday, June 20 - Day 8 ??? JERUSALEM/DEAD SEA ??? This morning we enter the Old City through Lion's Gate, where we visit Pilate???s Judgment Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos, Arch of Ecce Homo and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion.  We prayerfully walk the Stations of The Cross along the Via Dolorosa concluding at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where we celebrate Mass at the Franciscan Chapel here.  This afternoon we have two options.  Those who wish can return to the Judean wilderness first visiting the excavations at Qumran, the home of the Essenes connected with John the Baptist and the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Weather permitting; we have an opportunity to swim in the salty, yet clear waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest place. (Swim lockers not included.) On our return to Jerusalem, we pass by the traditional site of the Inn of the Good Samaritan.  Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.  Those not going to the Dead Sea will be free for rest, personal adventure or shopping in the Old City.  Thursday, June 21 - Day 9 - JERUSALEM/TEL AVIV/ AIRPORT - This morning we enter the Old City through Lion's Gate, where we celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Ann (Mary???s mother).  We then visit the nearby Pool of Bethesda and the Church of St. Stephen.  This afternoon, we drive to Ein Karem, where John the Baptist was born and Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth to utter the words of the Magnificat and spend a short time in prayer.  Lunch on our own and a short shopping time in Ein Karem.  We also visit the Church of the Visitation.  Afterwards we travel to Abu Gosh, one of the traditional sites of Emmaus, where Jesus appeared on the road on the first Easter Sunday.  We celebrate our farewell dinner nearby before we head to Ben Gurion Airport for our overnight flight home. Friday, June 22 - Day 10 - USA - We arrive in the U.S. this morning to connect to our home city where we arrive with unforgettable memories to cherish always.  Knowing we have walked in the footsteps of Jesus and the early Christians bring new meaning to our Scripture reading and celebration of Mass.
