a wonderful journey in the eyes of a 12 year old girl. she goes all the way from a small town in the Ukraine called Jibatov to Boston America. Jibatov is a small town of jews where her father gets enlisted in Czar's army. He wishes to not fight so he escapes to America. her father gets two tickets and she is chosen to go with her dad to America. They go through hard times and changes but they get through it together.
