Saturday, June 18 - Day 1 - DEPART ??? Today we depart our home airport to connect with our overnight flight to Tel Aviv. We enjoy in-flight movies and dinner and breakfast aloft. Sunday, June 19 ??? Holy Trinity - Day 2 ??? TEL-AVIV/JERUSALEM - Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, where we will be received by our tour guide. Check in at the hotel and included lunch. Visit to the Israel Museum to visit the Model city of Ancient Jerusalem. Mass and dinner at the Notre Dame Center followed by prayerful Holy Hour in the chapel with Catholic recording artist and missionary Michael John Poirier, preparing us for an exciting week ahead. Overnight at the Notre Dame Center, Jerusalem. Monday, June 20- Day 3 ??? BETHLEHEM/EIN KAREM - Drive to Bethlehem, to celebrate Mass where the Word Incarnate was born. We visit the Manger, Crusader's Cloister, and the Grotto of St. Jerome where we celebrate Mass. See the Caves of St Joseph, visit the Shepherd???s Field where the angels sang their Gloria and stop at the ???Milk Grotto??? where Mary nursed Baby Jesus on the way to Egypt. Lunch on your own in Bethlehem. Then we pay a visit to an orphanage run by the Sisters of the Incarnate Word. Drive to nearby Ein Karem, village of Elizabeth and Zechariah, where John the Baptist was born. Dinner and overnight at Notre Dame Center, Jerusalem. Tuesday, June 21- Day 4 ??? MT. CARMEL/ CAESAREA - After check out, drive to Galilee. En route stop at Caesarea Maritime to see the Roman Amphitheater and Aqueduct built by Herod. Here also St. Paul was imprisoned. Then visit Haifa and ascend Mt. Carmel to visit Elijah???s grotto and Stella Maris church. After lunch drive to Magdala to celebrate Mass and visit the Caves of the Maccabees. Dinner & overnight at Mt Beatitudes Franciscan Convent Guest House or the Pilghar House, Tiberias. Wednesday, June 22 - Day 5 ??? CANA/ NAZARETH - Drive to Cana where wedding vows may be renewed; then to Nazareth to visit Mary???s Well and the synagogue. Mass at the Church of the Annunciation. After lunch see Mt. Tabor, site of the Transfiguration and conclude with a retreat and dinner at the Mount of the Beatitudes. Thursday, June 23 - Day 6 ??? GALILEE/ MINISTRY OF CHRIST - Today we will sail across the Sea of Galilee and visit the Museum with the 2000 year old ???Jesus boat,??? then visit the Capernaum synagogue, and the house of St. Peter???s mother-in-law. After lunch visit Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and Mass at the Church of St Peter???s Primacy. Dinner and overnight at the Beatitudes. Friday, June 24 - Birth of John Baptist - Day 7 ??? BETHANY/DEAD SEA/JORDAN - Check out and head to the Dead Sea. En route have Mass in Bethany where Lazarus was raised. On to Qumran, the home of the Essenes and the where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Visit the Mt Temptation Monastery. After lunch on your own, visit the Jordan and the baptismal site, to renew your faith through baptism. Then a plunge into the Dead Sea (lockers and showers optional)   before returning to Jerusalem. View the Exposition of the Shroud of Turin. Overnight at Notre Dame Center, Jerusalem. Saturday, June 25 - Day 8 ??? JERUSALEM/THE PASSION OF CHRIST - Early pre-dawn Mass at the Holy Sepulcher. Return to the hotel for breakfast.  Walk through Old City Jerusalem to see the Dome of the Rock, El-Aqsa Mosque, the Western Wall, St. Anne???s Church and the Pools of Bethesda. View the remains of the Antonia Fortress, Pilate???s Judgment Hall, the Church of the Flagellation and Ecce Homo Arch. Pray the Stations of the Cross down the actual Via Dolorosa. Visit Calvary and the empty tomb. Early dinner. Evening Holy Hour with Michael John Poirier in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Overnight at Notre Dame Center. Sunday, June 26 ??? Body and Blood of Christ - Day 9 ??? MT. OF OLIVES/MT. ZION - See the panorama from atop the Mount of Olives. Visit the Church of the Pater Noster and walk the Palm Sunday road to the Church of Dominus Flevit, where Our Lord wept over the city, ending at the Garden of Gethsemane and the Rock of Agony. Lunch at Notre Dame. Visit Mt. Zion, the Dormition Abbey, the Cenacle of the Last Supper where we will celebrate Mass, the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the house of the high priest Caiphas where Jesus was imprisoned for the night and where Peter denied Our Lord three times. Dinner and overnight at Notre Dame Center, Jerusalem. Monday, June 27 - Day 10 ??? EMMAUS/TEL AVIV  - Check-out, visit Emmaus for Mass. We continue to Jaffa, the city of Jonah, where Peter had his rooftop experience. We ride through the quaintly restored area.  We celebrate our Farewell Dinner nearby before we head to Ben Gurion Airport for our overnight flight home. Tuesday, June 28, 2016 - Day 11 - USA - We arrive home today with unforgettable memories to cherish always.  Knowing we have walked in the footsteps of Jesus and the early Christians bring new meaning to our Scripture reading and celebration of Mass.
