Monday, April 17 - Day 1 - DEPART USA - We depart our home airport to connect with our overnight flight with dinner arriving in Paris the next day. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft. Tuesday, April 18 - Day 2 -ARRIVE LOURDES - This morning, we arrive in Paris where we are met.  We continue on our short flight to Lourdes where we transfer to our simple, pilgrim’s hotel near the Shrine for dinner. In the evening, we join the Torchlight Marian Procession.   Wednesday, April 19 - DAY 3 - LOURDES - This day is spent in devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes.  We celebrate Mass at the Grotto, with a morning orientation visit to the Shrine and a walking tour of Lourdes, visiting Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born, the Cachot, formerly used as a jail, where she lived during the apparitions, and the parish church.  This afternoon is free for private devotions, Eucharistic Procession, the Blessing of the Sick or the legendary, healing waters of the miraculous Lourdes spring...  Dinner and overnight at our hotel.  In the evening, we can once again join the Torchlight Marian Procession.   Thursday, April 20 - Day 4 – LOURDES/ AVIGNON – This morning, following Mass at the shrine, we depart Lourdes and pass through Carcassone, which boasts Europe's lengthiest medieval town walls.  Her mighty circle of towers on a hill above the River Aude gives Carcassone a fairy tale appearance. We continue northeast to the beautiful French city of Avignon and our hotel for dinner and overnight. Friday, April 21 - Day 5 – AVIGNON/PARAY LE MONIAL - This morning, we visit Avignon's Palace of the Popes and other famous sites before departing and make our drive along the Rhone River to the beautiful Paray le Monial. On arrival, we celebrate Mass and continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Saturday, April 22 - Day 6 –PARAY LE MONIAL/NEVERS - This morning, we celebrate Mass at the Chapel of St. Marguerite.  This is the site of the apparitions of Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1673.  It was here that she received the 12 promises to increase the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Following some free time, we depart and travel north to Nevers for dinner and overnight. Sunday, April 23 - Day 7 – NEVERS/ CHARTRES/LISIEUX - St. Bernadette of Lourdes spent the last 13 years of her life here, and we view her incorrupt body in the Convent of St. Gildard.  We celebrate Mass here.  Afterwards we view the Palais Ducal and visit the local museum.  From here we travel to Chartres for a visit to the iconic Cathedral Notre-Dame de Chartres.  This Cathedral is not only one of the greatest achievements in the history of architecture but also is almost perfectly preserved in its original design and detail.  We then continue to Lisieux for dinner and overnight. Monday, April 24 - Day 8 – LISIEUX/NORMANDY BEACHES/MONT SAINT MICHEL/LISIEUX – This morning we head west for a visit the site that marks the turning point of World War II, Normandy Beach.  We will visit the American cemetery of Omaha Beach where we will say a prayer of thanksgiving for their courage.   Later, we travel to the Monastery of Le Mont St. Michel also known as “The Wonder of the Western World”. This magnificent Monastery is surrounded by a bay that is one of the greatest tidal ranges in Europe, resulting in a breathtaking view. This evening we return to Lisieux for dinner and overnight. Tuesday, April 25 - St. Mark - Day 9 - LISIEUX /PARIS – Following breakfast we tour Lisieux, the home of St. Therese the Little Flower, where we celebrate Mass in the village convent. We also visit the Basilica dedicated to St. Therese.  The Basilica is the objective for pilgrims from the world over who come to kneel in solemn prayer to St. Therese.  Here we visit Les Buissonnets, where St. Therese lived as a child. Afterwards we travel to the “City of Lights”, Paris where we enjoy dinner and overnight at our hotel. Wednesday, April 26 - DAY 10 - PARIS -This morning following Mass at the Miraculous Medal Shrine of St. Catherine Laboure, we tour the sites of Paris, including a visit to the most enduring symbol of the French capital, the Notre Dame Cathedral on the Ile de la Cité. While here, we also make a stop at the Holy Chapel believed to hold relics, including nails and pieces of wood from the Cross of Calvary. As part of our tour, we pass by the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and travel down the famous Champs-Elysees. Tonight we celebrate Paris with a dinner cruise on the Seine river before returning to our hotel for overnight. Thursday, April 27 - Day 11 – PARIS - Today following an early Mass at a church near our hotel, the balance of the day is yours for shopping, personal adventure or optional excursions.  Optional excursion including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, Versailles, and more. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the culinary delights of Paris as dinner will be on our own. Friday, April 28 - Day 12 – RETURN -This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight home with unforgettable memories to cherish always.
