DAY 1 - DEPART - We depart Omaha to connect with our overnight flight with dinner arriving the next day.  Day 2 ??? GENEVA/ANNECY ??? This morning, we arrive in Geneva where we will be met and board our motorcoach for our ride to Annecy on her beautiful lake for dinner and overnight. Day 3 ???ANNECY ???  This morning we celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Visitation perched high above beautiful Annecy. Here we will visit the tombs of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane Chantal. We will visit the museum of the Basilica and see the presentation of the life and pastoral ministry of St. Francis. We can enjoy this lovely city on our own this afternoon. We will have the opportunity to explore the culinary delights of Annecy tonight as dinner will be on our own. We might choose dinner on the lake on the Bateaux d???Annecy. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4 ??? AVIGNON/AIX EN PROVENCE ??? Early this morning, we drive south for Avignon and visit the Palace of the Popes here. Continuing, a short stop will be made at the Pont du Gard, the best preserved Roman Aqueduct in existence.  We will celebrate Mass here in Avignon and then continue south to Aix en Provence for dinner and overnight.  DRIVE TIME 5 HOURS. Day 5 ??? AIX EN PROVENCE/MARSEILLES ??? This morning, as part of our tour we will see St. Rémy de Provence whose light inspired artists from Manet to Van Gogh and the fascinating ruins of Les Baux-de-Provence.  Afterwards, we will enjoy a special luncheon including a tasting of the wines of the Provençale region.  we will drive a bit further south to Marseilles for Mass at the Cathedral here.  We return to our hotel in Aix for dinner and overnight.  MINIMAL DRIVE TIME Day 6 ??? ARLES/ NIMES ??? Our excursions today take us to first to along the Rhône River to the Roman city of Arles. It is famed for inspiring the paintings of Van Gogh, which influenced the contemporary art displayed at the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh. Once a provincial capital of ancient Rome, we will visit the remains of the Arles Amphitheatre (les Arènes d'Arles), now hosting plays, concerts and bullfights.  We continue to Nimes. Here we will see the Arena and the Maison Carré, both witnesses to the power of Roman Gaul.  We will celebrate Mass at the Nîmes Cathedral dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the local Saint Castor of Apt.  We return to Aix for dinner and overnight. TOTAL DRIVE TIME 3 HOURS Day 7 ??? RHONE RIVER VALLEY/ARS/PARAY LE MONIAL ??? This morning, we enjoy our beautiful drive along the Rhone River Valley north to the village of Ars.  It was here that St. John Vianney, patron Saint of Priests, was the long time famous Curé.  We will celebrate Mass here.  We continue to nearby beautiful Paray le Monial Dinner and overnight at our hotel here. DRIVE TIME 5 HOURS Day 8 ???NEVERS ??? This morning, we celebrate Mass at the Chapel of St. Marguerite.  This is the site of the apparitions of Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1673.  It was here that she received the 12  promises to increase the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This afternoon, we drive north to Nevers.  St. Bernadette of Lourdes spent the last 13 years of her life here. We view her incorrupt body in the Convent of St. Gildard.  After some free time, we return to Paray for dinner and overnight. DRIVE TIME ROUND TRIP 3.5 HOURS Day 9 ???CHARTRES/CAEN ??? This morning, we travel north to the glorious city of Chartres. Here we will visit the great Gothic edifice of Chartres Cathedral which will thrill us with its beautiful stained glass windows. If possible, we will celebrate Mass.  Afterwards, we continue to Caens for dinner and overnight at our hotel. TOTAL DRIVE TIME 7 HOURS Day 10 ??? NORMANDY ??? This morning we see the D - Day Museum here in the city. Afterwards, we drive to Colleville sur Mer and visit the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach, the site of the Allied landing in 1944. We will have a time of prayer at the Cemetery chapel.  Following some free time for our visit and reflection, we drive to Arromanches where from our view from the cliffs we view the remnants of one of the ???Mulberry Harbors???, the caissons towed across the English Channel to serve the troops as the beaches provided no natural harbors. We visit the museum here before we return to our hotel in Caens for dinner and overnight. Day 11 ???LISIEUX/PARIS - Today we venture to Lisieux, the home of St. Theresa the Little Flower, where we will celebrate Mass in the village convent. We will also visit the Basilica dedicated to St. Theresa.  The Basilica is the objective for pilgrims form the world over who come to kneel in solemn prayer to St. Theresa.  Here we visit Les Buissonnets, where St. Theresa lived as a child. Continue to Paris, the City of Lights for dinner and overnight at our hotel. DAY 12 - PARIS - Our morning tour of Paris will begin this morning following Mass at the Miraculous Medal Shrine of St. Catherine Laboure at rue du Bac. Afterwards, we visit the nearby shrine dedicated to St. Vincent de Paul. Later, we will tour the sites of Paris, including a visit to the most enduring symbol of the city, the Notre Dame Cathedral. We next visit the north of Paris and the hill of Montmartre and the Basilica of Sacré Coeur. This afternoon, we will be free for shopping or personal adventure. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. DAY 13 - PARIS ??? This morning we enjoy a further tour of the City of Lights passing the Opera, Place de le Concorde, drive along the famous Champs Elysees to the Arch of Triomphe and pass by the Eiffel Tower. This afternoon will be free for shopping or personal adventure. After free time for lunch we continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.  Day 14 - RETURN TO USA - This morning, we depart Paris for and our connecting flight home.   We arrive in Omaha later today with memories of a lifetime.
