June 03 - Day 1 ??? DEPART USA ??? Today we depart New York, JFK aboard a wide-bodied jet. We are served complimentary beverages, in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft.  June 4 - Day 2- ROME/FLORENCE - Arrive in Roma board our motor coach and drive North. On route we enjoy a light lunch and wine tasting at an agriturismo before arriving to Florence. Once hotel check-in completed remainder of day at our leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at our hotel. June 5 ??? Day 3- FLORENCE - This morning we see the highlights of Florence, the jewel of the Renaissance.  We begin our walking tour with a visit of the Galleria  dell'Accademia   to view the ???David??? Michelangelo???s masterpiece which  still attracts, and does not disappoint, millions of visitors every year. Next we visit the Duomo, the heart of the city with its cupola by Brunelleschi, completed in 1240. We then continue outside to view its campanile by Giotto and Baptistery with incomparable bronze doors by Ghiberti. This afternoon is ours to explore or simply relax and enjoy a gelato. Our dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant. Overnight at our hotel. June 6 - Day 4 ??? FLORENCE/SIENA/ROME - After a leisurely breakfast this morning we drive south to Siena.  Short visit of Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral before our wine tasting and light lunch. We than continue to Rome;  upon arrival we will enjoy a panoramic bus tour of the city, passing by the most famous monuments of Ancient Rome, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. June 7 - Day 5 ??? ROMA - Today our tour will start with a visit to the Vatican City, the seat of the Roman Catholic Church. Our visit starts with the Vatican Museums which houses a vast amount of masterpieces. The Sistine Chapel will be the highlight of this tour. We then continue to St. Peter's Basilica entering through the ???Holy Doors???.   Remainder of day at our leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at our hotel. June 8 ??? Day 6 - ROMA ??? This morning, we make our way to St. Peter's for an audience with Pope Francis if he is in residence. We than begin our walking tour we make a wish at the Trevi Fountain, climb the Spanish Steps and the visit the Pantheon. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at our hotel.       June 9 ??? Day 7 ??? ROMA/ISERNA/SORRENTO - This morning we drive to Sorrento with a stop in Castelpetroso??? we enjoy a typical lunch and a short visit of this quaint town before we continue to Sorrento.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel. June 10 - Day 8 ??? CAPRI/ANACAPRI - Today is dedicated to Capri. Our tour begins with a visit to Anacapri. This beautiful village, which today is a town in itself, is an integral part of the island. Free time for lunch on our own. Afterwards, we continue to the famous "Piazzetta" of Capri, meeting place of VIPs and Vantage point of great beauty. Some free time for shopping before returning to the main land. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at our hotel. June 11 - Day 9 ???POMPEII/AMALFI - This morning we visit this classic Roman city buried in the year 79 A.D. by the Vesuvius eruption. Marvel at the theatre, the magnificent fora, the private homes, the Roman frescos. We than continue for Amalfi and enjoy some free time to enjoy lunch (on our own) before we explore this beautiful town. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.  June 12 - Day 10 - Departure from Naples to New York, JFK via Rome.
