With the purchase of one or more downloads the following terms of use of StepMap GmbH, Eiswerderstraße 18, Erdgeschoss (Gebäude 148 A), 13585 Berlin apply:

1. You do not acquire ownership of digital content.
2. We reserve the intellectual property rights for all digital contents, logos, illustrations and other documents. The copyright notices, digital signatures, trademarks and other rights contained in digital Maps may not be edited or removed.
3. This excludes the removal of our logo in a commercial use case scenario. Here, you have the opportunity to order Maps without the StepMap logo. However, a different removal of the logo outside of the ordering process is not permitted.
4. After purchasing a Map and downloading it, we grant you the simple, temporally and spatially unlimited right to use the Map in accordance with the following provisions.
5. The extent of use depends on whether you have purchased the Maps for private or business use.
6. A Map purchased for private use may only be used for personal use and may not be used for business purposes. You are entitled to use the digital content for personal purposes and, for example, to print or copy or save on another computer or mobile device. The partial or total transfer of the digital content, a copy or a printout to third parties is prohibited. You are strictly prohibited from communicating to the public, posting the digital product on the Internet or to a corporate network, lending, reselling or otherwise using it for any commercial purpose. The transfer of access data to the account or the link with the provided digital content is also prohibited.
7. In the case of business use, the right of use includes the right to reproduce, the right to distribute, the right to exhibit, the right to perform, perform and perform, the right to make it publicly available, the right to reproduce by image or sound carriers.
8. In the case of the acquisition of Maps for business use, you are entitled to a one-off use or a one-off resale to a third party. In particular, however, you are not authorized to disclose the Maps purchased from us in a manner consistent with our business model. You are prohibited from granting the third party a right of use that entitles the third party to the transfer. The third party is obliged to comply with the terms of these license terms.
9. The Maps we provide may be used for private or business use by you as part of the online tools we provide. Other edits and transformations are expressly prohibited.
10. Each use of the Map obliges you to indicate the source, provided that you have chosen the variant "with StepMap Logo" when purchasing the Map. In this case, the StepMap logo is part of the Map image. This may not be subsequently edited, removed or covered. If you choose the variant "without StepMap Logo", this obligation is void. The words "(c) StepMap, 123map, Data: OpenStreetMap, License ODbL 1.0" at the bottom of the Map must always be kept and visible, regardless of whether you have chosen the Map version with or without the StepMap logo. If this is not possible on the Map for reasons of space or other reasons, you are obliged to place this information under or next to the map. If this too is not possible directly on, under or next to the Map for reasons of space or other reasons, the instructions must be affixed to a suitable location (for example imprint, etc.).
11. In particular, in the event of unauthorized use, misuse or misapplication of these terms and conditions (including the specific legal notices), we have the right in particular to temporarily or permanently block your access to StepMap. In any case, we reserve the right to take criminal action.
