Map of Burundi - The Republic of Burundi is a landlocked country located within the Great Lakes Region of eastern Africa, and the map of Burundi is bordered on the north by Rwanda, on the east and south by Tanzania, and by the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. Although the country is landlocked, in that it has no access to the ocean, much of the southwestern border of the map of Burundi is on Lake Tanganyika. Burundi is one of the smallest countries in Africa, and has an equatorial climate.
