What is StepMap good for? – Example 4: The Teacher
Today, students often are more comfortable using computers and the Internet than teachers are. So why not use their interest in new media by presenting information and class content via maps? It doesn't gave to be limited to geography class alone. History or politics also come to mind - think Alexander the Great or countries of the European Union. A teacher can create maps to present them online or in print format to hand out in class. How about setting up a quiz based on a map?
Important note for teachers:
Under the supervision of a teacher, students are allowed to use StepMap to create maps, too. "Questionable" content will be monitored and deleted.
