Step 2 – Add Locations and Icons

Please add Locations and Icons to your Map – simply click on the map to add them. You can change the design of all added items such as locations, icons and fonts.

Step 3 – Add Descriptions and Media

You can add descriptions and media to the previously placed locations. The description can be palin text or a mixture of text, images, videos, audio files and other media formats. Select a location on the map and then add the desired description and media in the right navigation panel.

Step 4 – Saving your Map

The last Step lets you add a Map title, a Map description and some keywords. You also save the Map at this point. If you are not logged in please do so now before you save the map to your account.

	Public Map The Map is public and everyone can see it. Only the Map author can edit it. It can be exported to other web sites.
	Private Map Only the Map author can see or edit the Map. It cannot be exported to other web sites.

To save the map you need to be logged in. If you have not signed up with StepMap or if you are not logged in, please do so now. The Map will not be lost during your signup or login process.
